This release marks the beginning of The Bottle Merchants journey. In true experimental spirit, a single cask of Miltonduff 10 Year Old was divided in two after a decade of maturation, allowing us to showcase the influence of cask finishing. Half remained in its original cask, while the other half was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry wood.

What an amazing bottle of whiskey this is. I’ve tasted quite alot of good whiskey in my time but this one is honestly something else. The taste is fruity and full compared to supermarket stuff which tastes watered down if you have one after this one. It just bursts with flavour and i now see the difference in cask strength whiskey. Honestly if you like sherry cask whiskey, in my humble opinion you will not be disappointed. Stunning wee dram…Simply put, a stunning fruity full of taste bottle of cask strength single malt. Honestly could be the nicest I’ve tried…
