What makes The Bottle Merchants different from other whisky brands?
We’re Scotland’s newest independent bottler, and we do things a bit differently. We’re not about stuffy traditions or lecturing you on tasting notes – we believe whisky is best enjoyed with good company. Every bottle we release is hand-selected by our three-person tasting panel, bottled in small batches of 150-300 bottles, and sold at cask strength to preserve the full character of the spirit.
Where do you source your casks?

We source casks from brokers, distilleries, and private collectors across Scotland. Quality is our only criterion – we don’t focus on specific regions or age statements. If it tastes exceptional, we bottle it.

What does "cask strength" mean?

Cask strength means the whisky is bottled directly from the cask without adding water to reduce the alcohol content. This gives you the full, unaltered flavour profile. You can always add a drop of water yourself to open it up if you prefer.

Will you only sell Scotch whisky?

Single Malt Scotch Whisky is our focus, but we’re not shy of a good blend or a rum along the way. If it’s quality, we’re interested.

We currently ship across the UK.

How long does delivery take?

UK orders typically arrive within 3-5 working days.

Absolutely. Every bottle is carefully packed to ensure it arrives safely.
