This was the infamous “Whisky Wednesday” where it all began.  A get together for a dram at the Wee Arnott Inn, the bar in Bryan & Linda’s garden.  What started as a boring conversation about pensions and retirement plans ended like this.  We were now going to have a go at bottling some whisky and building pension plans together.

The Bottle Merchants came from the idea that we were all “feart” of how this would go and in typical Glasgow fashion, someone said we were bottle merchants, not to be confused with bevvy merchants. 😁😁 The logo of the 3 crashed bottles with drams in front is us.
